True ghost stories abound in the places where people face death and transcend into ghosts, namely hospitals. Ghosts are often reported in areas of high stress and tension. Hardly any place can fit that description better than a hospital, where trauma has its own centre. Arguably, hospitals are physical mediums between this world and the spirit realm, a place where life is both brought into this world, and delivered out of it into the great beyond.
